Hi, I’m Jheri Walters, LCSW-S, a dedicated clinical supervisor in the field of social work with over 15 years of experience. This journey has profoundly shaped who I am. From day one, I’ve been passionate about understanding people deeply—exploring what makes us resilient, identifying where we struggle, and discovering how we grow. I firmly believe that relationships, especially in therapy, can serve as powerful tools for healing and transformation. This belief in ethical practice and the importance of mentorship has kept me rooted in social work through every twist, challenge, and success.
I’ve worked across a wide range of settings—clinical offices, community programs, and institutions—supporting individuals, families, and communities through complex mental health and case management needs. The work has been diverse, and so have the people I’ve had the honor of serving.
Since 2018, I’ve been a clinical supervisor, providing mentorship to fellow social workers and interns as they develop their skills and navigate real-life challenges. In addition, I am proud to be a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. I believe it is crucial to engage in professional reflection and discuss the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.
My approach as a clinical supervisor is grounded in real-world experience, ethical practice, and a deep respect for each person’s unique path. I see supervision and teaching as collaborative, supportive spaces where we can explore the complexities of mental health, get curious about what’s not working, and build on what is. I’m passionate about creating an environment that fosters open dialogue, critical thinking, and professional reflection.
